Six Quick Things
Thinking spring! A perfect poplin, new staple sunglasses, cocktails with Belle Burden, and more.
We are back! And very happy to be here. I’ve accumulated a long list over the past few weeks, and narrowing it down to just six was, as always, not easy. But these are the six things I’m most excited about today as we inch towards spring (three of which I’m wearing from my seat on this flight as I type).
Happy weekend!
A perfect blue
Here! it! is! A perfect poplin shirt. It’s the right cut, the right shape, and most importantly, the perfect shade of blue. I’m wearing mine with a white T and poplin drawstring pants on the plane now. I love that this blue will take me through summer, too.

I purchased these sunglasses two weeks ago and have worn them almost every day since. I love the shape. They’re not too narrow and not too wide. A great new staple! (Item #2 I’m wearing on plane… currently as makeshift headband.)

We launched a spring capsule with our friends Julia & Thomas Berolzheimer last week, and the response has surpassed expectations. Having worked with Julia twice now, I can attest that she is one of the very best people to work with. She has incredible instincts, a true attention to detail, and an ability to lend her vision in an immensely collaborative way. She is, all around, a wonderful partner, and we are so thrilled about how this collection came together. (The launch video may be my favorite part!)
And on the product, it’s impossible to pick a favorite. If I really had to, it would be between the Woven Fonteyn flat and the Parker slide.. ?!

A perfect python
Ah, this bag. My pick for spring. I want everything python right now. It’s a fun way to invest in a neutral that feels special. Also, I love the straps with this east-west shape. And it’s still big enough to fit all of the essentials! Voilà.

It is hard to explain just how much use I’ve gotten out of this sweater in the last month. It’s what we’ve all been looking for! The perfect loose fit, delicate V, and featherweight soft cashmere. It’s currently tied around my neck on this flight, I wore it with trousers yesterday, and the day before that with a T-shirt and shorts. I’m now thinking the navy might need to be next…
(Ps. I recommend sizing down.)

I most certainly do not need to introduce you to this book, but I wanted to share that Strangers is our next Footnotes pick at Margaux! And for those of you new to Footnotes, it’s our quarterly book club (now six years old) where we feature female authors, invite our community to read along, and celebrate with the author over cocktails, delicious food, and a casual Q&A in NYC.
If you are in town on April 28th, we’d love for you to join us as we sit down with Belle and hear more about the book that has a chokehold on New York (and maybe the world?) right now.

Best taste as always!
