Six Quick Things
Hello! Happy long weekend. Happy Fashion Week, happy Valentine’s Day, happy Sunday.
Here are six quick things worth a moment of your time.
A cute skirt. At a great price. I like styling it with a tonal blue tank. This blue seems to be the color of spring and I am into it.

I’ve missed every restock of this trench for the last few months until finally! I got there in time. I’m wearing it today with these jeans (a SQT favorite), a black turtleneck, and a cozy wool sweater around my neck. It’s the perfect weight and I love the print. And there are still a few left!

We’ve been focused on the idea of “soft structure” at Margaux—this idea of exploring architectural shapes and deconstructing them, making them softer and more comfortable for everyday wear. That is the way I’d describe this cardigan. It has shape without being rigid. You can move through your day in it without feeling like you’re compromising on comfort. A 10/10!

This is the pick for my (small) bag of the spring! I love the shape—it’s proven to be as useful as it feels special. It is just the right size to be practical, which really adds to its versatility.

If I had to pick one thing from this week’s edit that I’m most passionate about, it would be this. I’ve been recommended many different “sleep-enhancing remedies” over the last few years, and nothing really did the trick. I have also never been more motivated to find the one until my first year of motherhood. Finding the thing that might peacefully lull me back to sleep (and replace the urge for a 3am panic scroll) after being up with a baby felt like a quest worth taking. Thanks to a dear, in-the-know friend, this is it. There is, I’m sure, far more science behind it than I can properly explain but my description of it would be: pure magic. I keep it on my nightstand and it works every time.

Not an object, but a recommendation for a fantastic weekend read. My friend, Rose, has a brilliant (and now quite famous) substack called The Rose Period, “a newsletter on the unusual, special, and unexpected stories from the art world”. It’s fabulous and I highly recommend you subscribe. My favorite is her series on women artists you should know. And this weekend, in celebration of Valentine’s Day, she published a series of love letters from famous artists that I’ve been reading all morning.

Happy weekend xx

Also a big fan of this cos cardi! So good
